Where is the tournament level specified in LigaPadla.pl? It’s simple – it’s in the name. For example, in “MEXICANO B2,” the level is “B2.” So what do these terms mean?

Our skill levels

The LigaPadla.pl system is based on 5 skill levels, based on the simplified model of the Polish Padel Federation:

SymbolNameDescription
CFirst stepsA player who knows the basic strokes and rules of padel, but plays primarily for fun and skill development. He struggles with consistency and hitting off the walls, and his game is still filled with randomness. However, this doesn’t stop him from enjoying the game. He’s always eager to acquire new skills and learn the playing styles of other players.
B3BeginnerBeginner, but already familiar with basic strokes. He’s been playing padel for several months, and can use air and wall strokes and basic tactics.
B2IntermediateHaving played regularly for several months, he already has excellent command of his shots and creates opportunities on the court. He’s also good with volleys and lobs, and knows how to utilize the walls in his game. This level also includes players who are just starting out but have several or more years of tennis under their belt.
B1AdvancedUsing typical padel strokes like the bandeja and vibora, they also employ advanced strategies that allow them to create advantageous situations on the court. They play for points or regularly in various competitions.

Multiplier system – motivation for fair competition

We have introduced ranking point multipliers, which are intended to encourage players to sign up for tournaments appropriate to their skills.

What is it about?

The easiest way to explain this is with an example. We’re playing Americano for 16 people. According to the scoring rules applicable at LigaPadla.pl, the winner of such a tournament can earn as many points as there are participants. In this case, 16 points. These points are then multiplied depending on the tournament level (which is specified in its name, e.g., “AMERICANO C”) according to the table below:

LevelMultiplier
Cx1.0
B3x1.5
B2x2.0
B1x2.5
ANDx3.0

The higher the tournament level, the more points you earn. If you’re a B2-level player, for example, you can certainly play in a C-level tournament, but… you won’t earn many points there! Multiplier x1.0 will make winning tournament C much less profitable than competing in tournament B2 (multiplier x2.0).

This way we minimize the risk of encountering too great a difference in levels on the court, and you will have a better chance of competing with truly beginner players.

Remember! While the temptation to sign up for a higher category can be strong, overestimating your skills can backfire. If you sign up for a tournament in a category that’s too high, you’ll likely get a severe beating ;), and the fun of playing will be minimal. Choose your level realistically – that’s the key to success. development and satisfaction.

Choose the right game format!

Even if you choose your level perfectly, the matchmaking system can leave you with a difficult matchup. That’s why we offer a variety of match formats so you can choose what’s most important to you!
