2. For what purpose do we process your data?

We only use your data for strictly defined purposes to enable you to fully use our platform:

• Organizing tournaments and maintaining rankings: When you create an account, register for a tournament and accept our Competition Rules, we process your data (e.g. name, surname, gender, assigned form indicator) to place you in the appropriate group, enable you to participate in the competition and update your statistics in the system. 
• Cooperation with the Organizers: When you register for a specific tournament, we share your basic data (e.g., name, age, phone number, email) with the organizer who is physically organizing the tournament. This is necessary for on-site verification of participants and the smooth running of the competition. The club then becomes a separate controller of your data for the purposes of managing this specific event.
• League Competitions (Contact with opponents): If you’re signing up for a league format, you’ll need to arrange a meeting with other players. Therefore, players in your league group will have access to your phone number to quickly schedule a meeting and reserve a venue. This is crucial to maintaining the smooth running of the competition.. 
• Handling inquiries and notifications (Contact form): If you contact us via the form on our website (e.g., for technical support, complaints, or general questions), we process the data you provide (e.g., email address, name, message content) to efficiently resolve your issue and provide you with a response. Providing this data is entirely voluntary, but necessary for us to contact you.
• Marketing and platform development: If you provided your consent during registration, we will send you notifications about new competitions and promotions (including those from our main partners). We do this via text messages (SMS) and email using the Mailerlite system.

3. Who do we share your data with?

Your data is safe with us. However, to ensure the system functions properly, we rely on the support of trusted third parties. We may transfer data to:

• Tournament organizers (solely for the efficient organisation of events in which you have decided to participate),
• Software and cloud service providers (database hosting, e-mail and SMS sending system providers, e.g. Mailerlite),
• Other players in your group (only in the case of league registration, limited to the telephone number for organizational communication purposes).

4. Cookie Policy

When you use the LigaPadla.pl platform, small text files called cookies are saved in your browser. We use them in three main areas:

Essential (Technical)

They are the foundation of the app’s operation. They ensure the website functions correctly, the system remembers your session login, and allows the system to accurately calculate matchmaking algorithms. These cookies cannot be disabled if you wish to use the platform.

Analytical (Google Analytics)

They allow us to analyze anonymized website traffic. We analyze how users use the platform, which allows us to optimize the interface (UX), speed up module loading, and further develop the product.

Marketing (META Pixel)

They help us with our marketing efforts. Thanks to the META pixel (Facebook/Instagram), we can tailor ads and remind you about upcoming sporting events in your region.

5. What are your rights?

Under GDPR, you have full control over your data. You always have the right to:

• Access to your data and rectification in the event of an error or change,
• Deletion of data (right to be forgotten), unless legal regulations or tax considerations require us to store them longer,
• Restricting processing or objecting to processing,
• Withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time – without any consequences for the ability to use the platform.
