How do you earn ranking points?

1. Scoring in Americano and Mexicano

IN Americano and Mexicano the number of points depends on occupied space and tournament level.

Placement points

For first place, you receive as many points as there were players in the tournament. Each subsequent place receives one less point – the last player receives one point.

In case of obtaining equal number of points the order in the table is determined by:

1. match record
2. place in All-Time Ranking
3. order of registration for the tournament

Tournament level points, i.e. level multipliers

Then your points for placement are multiplied by tournament level indicator (e.g., B2), which rewards participation in stronger competitions. In the case of tournaments with combined levels, e.g., B2/B3, the multiplier of the lower level counts.

Summary

In Americano and Mexicano Ranking Points = Place Points × Level Multiplier Example – Americano/Mexicano: Calculating the Winner 16 players participate in the Mexicano B2/B3 tournament.

• Multiplier: Lower level applies (B3), so the multiplier is x1.5.
• Place Points: Winner receives 16 points.
• Calculation: 16 points × 1.5 (multiplier B3) = 24 points down Padel League Rankings.

2. Scoring in Klasiko

In Klasiko, a classic tournament with matches up to 2 sets, you can win more points than in Americano and Mexicano. In addition to the placement points, which in this format we call Bonus Points, you also earn points for every match played! The bigger the tournament, the more points you can win. Additionally, there’s a Level Multiplier that rewards play in stronger tournaments. To sum up: the total points scored in Klasiko are Match Points + Bonus Points.

A. Match Points

Match points are awarded for each match, as shown in the table below. Wins and losses are not the only factors that count. it’s worth fighting for every set!

These points are then multiplied by the Level Multiplier – exactly the same as in Mexicano or Americano.

B. Bonus Points for placing in the tournament

Bonus Points are awarded based on your position in the tournament.. The winning pair receives a number of points equal to the number of all tournament participants. (For example, with 16 players, we get 16 points for a win.) Next place gets 2 points less, and so on, until the last pair earns 2 points. Here, too, everything is multiplied by the Level Multiplier (see table above).

How is the tournament placement determined?

Based on:

1. Tournament Stage, in which the pair finished the tournament (victory, final, semi-final, quarter-final (…) group stage
2. Match Points
3. Game Balance

Example:

Four pairs were eliminated in the quarterfinals of the Klasiko tournament.

The pairs in 5th and 6th place have the same number of Match Points, but Jan Nowak / Jan Kowalski have a better game record. A similar situation occurred in 7th and 8th places. Very rarely, two pairs may be tied in both Match Points and Game Balance. In such cases, the pair’s position in the rankings (which rewards regular participation in the Padel League) and, ultimately, the order in which they entered the tournament will determine their tournament position.

3. Polish Scoring

A. Base score for the match result

Polako is played in sets. Therefore, points are scored based on the final score of the match, not the total number of balls won.

Polako exception: points for missing a player in the group stage If one of the four players does not show up for a Polako group stage match, the remaining three participants and their partners receive 4 points each.

B. Applying a multiplier to basis points

Level multipliers (discussed in section 1B) only apply to victory points (5 and 4 points).

Example – Polako: calculating the multiplier

The player takes part in the Polako tournament at level A (multiplier x3.0).

4. Types of rankings

Points earned in all tournaments (short and long) are added together and are ranked in one of three rankings:

• Men’s Ranking and Women’s Ranking LigaPadla.pl: Includes all tournaments in Poland. Includes points from the top 24 tournaments earned in the last 365 days.
• All-Time Ranking: It takes into account the player’s points earned during all his appearances in LigaPadla.pl tournaments.
• Club Rankings: It only counts points earned in the last 365 days in tournaments held by a single, specific club. If a player has played in tournaments for multiple clubs, they will be ranked in their club rankings for each of them.

Example:

Fifteen months ago, the player played in a tournament at the Interpadel Warsaw club and scored 30 points. In the last three months, he has played in five tournaments at Mana Padel Warsaw, earning a total of 140 points.

• In the Men’s Ranking he will have 140 points (points earned in the last 365 days).
• In the All-Time Ranking 170 points (this classification sums up all the points in the player’s performance history).
• In the Mana Padel Warsaw Club Ranking 140 points.
• In the Interpadel Club Ranking, Warsaw currently has 0 points (the tournament in which he scored 30 points took place more than 365 days ago).
